Car Rental Terms & Conditions

Drivers age
23 years for groups A and B, and 25 years for all other groups

Driving license
A valid driving license held at least one year is required

Currency
All rates are net and in Euro

Reservation
Only guarantees delivery of one of the above listed vehicles OR SIMILAR. It is possible to reserve a particular model of car within a group. Service will not be given to any unconfirmed reservation

Free Kilometers
CDW (damage to mirrors, tires, chassis or mechanical damage caused by the driver is not included)*
FULL DAMAGE WAIVER with deductible excess depending on the car category. Renter may reduce the excess for an extra charge of € 5per day.

Third Party Insurance
All renters and authorized drivers of the supplier are insured against: Third parties liability of € 1.200.000 for material damages and personal injuries. Personal Insurance for the driver up to € 12.000 and personal insurance for the passengers up to 1.220.000 euros, according to the international insurance laws.

Free of charge

GPS
€ 5 per day payable locally (upon request and availability)

2nd driver
Free of charge

Assistance
24-hour breakdown service.
Exchange of car within 24 hours in case of accident or breakdown.
Accidents and collisions are to be reported as soon as possible.

Traffic violations
Administrative sanctions resulting from traffic violations incurred during the rental period are at the renter’s expense

Petrol
Is paid by the renter. Renter must return the vehicle with the same level of petrol he collection.

Ferrying the car
Is permitted upon request

Out of hours
No extra charge for Out of Hours deliveries or collections

Extra costs
If the wrong grade of petrol is filled, the renter will be required to pay for the rest of the amount. By loss of the key or remote control, the renter will be required to pay for a replacement. Price is dependent on dealer and make of car. Damage to rims or soft tops and cigarette burns inside the car are not covered by the insurance. Any such damages are to be reported when handing back the car. A charge will be raised accordingly.

*only under the condition that the driver is following the traffic regulation rules the CDW is included. In different cases (e.g driving after alcohol consumption or violation of the traffic lights or U turn on high speed roads etc), the driver is fully responsible for any damages caused at the car.
Cases of gross negligence on the part of the renter, which lead to theft, damage and vandalism (e.g. leaving key in the car) forbid the allocation of a replacement car and the refund of rental price, and are not covered by the insurance.
The insured sums are determined as per Greek/European regulations.
